As this is my last semester @ IITD, a lot of thoughts keep crossing my mind about all that happened in these 5 years... and numerous unwanted details related to them. A dominant part (and I'm really proud of this) of my stay here is 'goof ups'.. the blunders (some are really big ones) but the best part is that I managed to come out of all of them quite neatly.
This one's my favourite... I was in 2nd year, majors approaching next week. As always happened before majors, I used to spend a lot of time thinking what wud happen if I screw up majors bcoz already I have done wonders in minors. I generally opened my consolidated grade sheet. And I was shocked !! There was this course 'Introduction to Logic' added in the presnt semester course list. I had no clue about it which means I get an 'F' grade. I really FREAKED OUT !!!
I went to my course advisor and requested him for help. He smiled at me saying it was my fault..
Ofcourse it was!
Then I went to a person called Monga (read God). He heads UG Section and I thought he might listen to me and do something. When he saw me, he folded his hands and said 'Namaskar' !! This was a bit too much ... Then he said 'Aapko kya hua ji, aap to badi kalakaar hain'... As it turned out, he had seen me acting in some play and being a drams person, he remembered me.
I was not in a jolly mood and told him the whole case. He made a cold face and said, "Bhai main kya kar sakta hoon, ab to F hi lagega..."
Tears came 2 my eyes... I started explaining that it was a mistake and I don't know how it happened blah blah and suddenly he said, "Yahan bhi acting !!" and started laughing loudly.. I actually didn't understand what was going on... The next moment, i had a big (really BIG) smile on my face when he said, "Yahan course ka number aur apna entry no. likh do, main kar doonga.."
I didn't know what 2 say !!!! I just said "THANK YOU SIR !!!!" and he replied "NAMASKAAR"
